Working with existing systems
Most organisations already have systems in place for managing people, recording information and keeping track of conversations.
The last thing they need is another system that creates more work.
That is where InMyWords integrations come in.
Integrations allow InMyWords to connect with existing systems, so information can move between them without staff having to manually copy and paste everything.
For example, a case management system could open a conversation in InMyWords and send the relevant text that needs translating. When the conversation is finished, the translated conversation can be passed back to the case management system.
The same principle applies to staff accounts. If your organisation uses an identity provider such as Microsoft Entra ID or Okta, staff accounts and groups can be managed automatically.
When someone joins the organisation, changes role or leaves, their access to InMyWords can be updated without an administrator having to maintain a separate list.
There are also webhooks, which allow connected systems to be notified when something happens in InMyWords. That means a system can be told when a conversation has ended, a summary is ready or a translation has been completed.
Designed with control in mind
Integrations are not an open door into your organisation's systems. Administrators decide exactly what each connection can access. Each integration has its own key, and access can be revoked whenever necessary.
Activity is logged, and changes made through an integration appear in the InMyWords audit trail under the name of the connection. This provides a clear record of what has happened and which system was involved.
There are also firm boundaries around what an integration can do. A connection alone cannot start a conversation or give administrative permissions.
Less duplication, fewer manual steps
The aim is simple: make InMyWords fit into the way your organisation already works.
Integrations can reduce repetitive administration, keep information moving between systems and make it easier for staff to work with translated conversations without having to maintain multiple records manually.
And there is no additional integration charge. They are included as part of every InMyWords organisation plan.
